Had an opportunity to shoot the NYC firework display from a rooftop across the river. It was my first time shooing fireworks so I was kinda winging it. But I uploaded ~35 photos to Flickr ... I'll probably post the best couple here on dA.

Saturday (6/18) will be 9 years for me. D:
I haven't submitted anything in over a year and a half, but I want to start getting into photography ... like, for serious. Regular freelancing at the very least... not just a hobby. Need to clear some existing commitments off my plate, but once that's done I'm in there. I think I can do well with it, both artistically and financially. Here's hoping.

I finally have a job I don't hate. And will no longer have to commute an hour to visit my friends. Life ... is not too shabby.
